Foam Roofing Systems

Foam Roofing Systems

Urethane Foam Roofing Systems provide many benefits to building owners.  A foam roof is a superior roofing system for flat and low slope roofs.

Benefits of Urethane Foam Roofing Systems:

  • A seamless monolithic seal over the entire roof deck provides a leak free system
  • High insulation value with rapid pay back on energy savings
  • Fully adhered system
  • Weather resistant
  • Lightweight and high strength adding stability and structural strength to your building
  • Energy efficient
  • Easily sustainable with very low maintenance
  • FM Approved systems available

Spray Foam Roof

Sprayed Polyurethane foam is applied as a liquid which allows the foam to flow into and seal any cracks and crevices.  The foam then expands to approximately 30 times its original volume to form a hard, closed cell monolithic roof surface.  The expansion results in a weather tight roofing membrane that is fully adhered to the substrate.  The application of polyurethane foam is light weight and adds incredible rigidity and strength to your building.

Protective Coatings for Spray Foam Roofing Systems

Sprayed coating is applied to protect the foam from the sun’s ultra violet radiation, moisture and foot traffic.  This protective coating is applied to the foam to provide a durable weather resistant surface that can be walked on for normal maintenance.  The light colored and reflective roof coatings reflect the sun’s heat and UV rays.

Energy Stats

Application of a Spray Foam Roofing System will provide you with energy savings that will pay for your roof and provide you savings in the long run.

Qualified roofing systems can reduce the amount of air conditioning and heating needed in a building and can reduce energy bills by up to 50%.

Foam Facts

Application of foam provides a continuous monolithic surface and creates a leak free seal over your entire roof deck.

2lb foam insulation is a closed cell foam that has an aged R-Value of approximately 6 per 1 inch of thickness enabling foam to provide more thermal resistance with less material than any other type of commercial insulation material.

2lb foam acts as a vapor barrier and helps reduce moisture infiltration which controls growth of dangerous mold and mildew.
