Happy Customers!

We had our brand new house in Lethbridge insulated with spray foam done by Steve's Urethane, and we are very happy with the results! The staff was great to deal with and the crew was efficient and very tidy. I would recommend Steve's Urethane to anyone interested in spray foam insulation.

We Offer Blown-in Insulation Application for Buildings in Lethbridge

At Steve’s Urethane, we know that a well-insulated building starts at the top. While spray foam is a powerhouse for air sealing and R-value, blown-in insulation remains an effective and cost-efficient way in Lethbridge to upgrade your building’s thermal envelope — especially in attics.

Loose white blown-in insulation

Whether you are looking to top up your current attic levels or insulate a new build, our blown-in solutions provide a blanket of protection that keeps the heat in during our cold Southern Alberta winters and out during the summer.

Our Blown-In Options

We offer two primary types of blown-in insulation, each selected for its durability and thermal performance:

1. Blown-In Fiberglass

Modern fiberglass is a loose-fill material that is "blown" into place to create a high-loft, fluffy layer of insulation.

  • Non-Settling: Modern fiberglass maintains its thickness (and its R-value) over time.

  • Moisture Resistant: Fiberglass does not absorb moisture, making it a great choice for attic environments with varying humidity levels.

2. Blown-In Cellulose

Made from recycled paper fibers treated with fire-retardant borates, cellulose is a dense, eco-friendly option.

  • Superior Coverage: Because the fibers are small, they settle into every nook and cranny, filling around wires, pipes, and trusses better than traditional batts.

  • Fire & Pest Resistance: The mineral treatments make cellulose highly resistant to fire, mould, and even wood-boring insects.

The Importance of Attic Ventilation

Insulation is only half the battle. For your attic to perform correctly, it needs to breathe. When we install blown-in insulation, we also ensure your soffit vents are protected with baffles (wind vents). This prevents the new insulation from blocking airflow, which is crucial for preventing ice dams and moisture buildup.

At Steve’s Urethane we offer blown insulation products which can be installed on their own or in combination with spray foam to create a highly efficient system. Please contact us today for a quote.
